Design scheme of forklift lithium battery




1) Protection board: according to the chemical characteristics of the lithium battery pack and the working characteristics of the forklift, the protection circuit is designed. In addition to the functions of overcharge, over discharge, overcurrent and short circuit protection, the protection board design also fully considers the problems of high-power heat dissipation and the balance of the whole battery. The whole protection board uses aluminum alloy as the heat dissipation substrate, and the temperature rise is less than 20 degrees.




2) Protection circuit: imported IC and MOS tubes are used to conduct on-line real-time monitoring of overcharge, over discharge, overcurrent, short circuit and other functions of the cell, so as to make the cell work in a safe, stable and efficient range.




3) Overcurrent fuse: it is mainly designed for the protection failure of the battery management system of the lithium battery itself. Since the battery pack adopts high-power cells with relatively large capacity, although the battery management system has overcurrent and short-circuit protection, the protection function will fail if there is an abnormality, and a very large current will be generated in the case of output short circuit, resulting in danger. Therefore, an overcurrent fuse is added in the scheme. In case of abnormal short circuit, the fuse will disconnect the circuit, And unrecoverable, so as to achieve the purpose of abnormal protection.




4) Resistance balance is adopted inside the battery pack, which can effectively make up for the capacity reduction caused by the difference of single cells during use, and greatly prolong the service life of the battery.




5) Battery parallel unit: PTC isolation is adopted to avoid inrush current safety problems caused by large capacity.




6) The high current main circuit of the battery uses copper strip as current collector to make the discharge current of the single battery close to as much as possible.




7) The battery pack adopts plastic support to isolate and fix the battery cell, which is more conducive to the heat dissipation and safe use of the battery.
